Thanks Ever So Much

Hello bloggers!  I thought I would show a sample from the shows on the weekend.  This card shows off the lovely Scandinavian Collection so nicely.  I started with a piece of coconut white card and embossed the background with the new Pinpoint folder called Beaded Fanfare.  I just love the swags of pinpoints on this one!  I cut the bottom edge with scissors following the design to give it a scalloped look.  I covered a piece of periwinkle card with a sticky adhesive sheet and peeled the backing paper off and coated it with Diamond Snow.  I glued this to the bottom of my embossed background so it was peeking out underneath.  Using some of the Bluebird Satin ribbon, I wrapped a piece around and taped the ends to the back, then formed a looped bow in the centre.  For the focal element, I cut the Copenhagen die in white and nipped it in half.  Then I cut the Stockholm die in white and backed it with a solid piece cut from periwinkle card.  I taped the cut die to the edge so it showed out the sides for a little bit of detail.  I stamped my sentiment, then cut a pretty circle to frame it from my Italian Collection Decorative frames set.  I cut a tag from the Scandinavian collection and nipped it in half to make it smaller then mounted it behind the sentiment frame.  The card was completed by paper piercing the edge, adding a thin periwinkle card mat and a wider white mat.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue. Id like to send this sentiment straight back to you, firstly for a week of wonderful brand new dies and the most stunning samples to show the beauty of them, sooo many to try and save for ! And secondly, for the weekend show's so full of hints, tips, and lovliness - congrats on all your sell out, bet you and Cr.Ex.were having a bit of a panic ! So were WE just incase they cancelled a show or two as we dont get to see you enough as it is ! My face is still aching after all the smiling hearing our regular friends emails being read out, and what talant you Wilsonettes have : )
I just love this card, a bright happy start to our week. I really MUST catch up though with the dies you show cased over the weekend before your new collection, they are so beautiful I just can't miss out on them, maybe I should try and find a 2nd market to do (I wish) the new ribbons are absolutly gorgeous and have to go on my list of needs rather than wants - need sounds so much less greedy than want lol.
I adore how your photography shows off this most amazing new folder (over-time barbie) ?? I know a little shop that will be ordering this, or will it accidentally fall into a certain basket ?
Its SO lovely to see last weeks blog reach the 300's but so unfair and upsetting to everyone to see it go down now the launch is over !! How fickle some people are !
Well, after spending the majority of my weekend in front of the tv I HAVE to get some cards done today regardless how I feel, talking of which, thinking of you today Theresa and hope you get the answer's and help you need so badly with your poor shoulder and that yesterday wasn'to painfull or upsetting for you all.
Really missing our Cam and Lynn and am worried about you both.
Oh well, back to normal today, so I will send you my love and I suppose its too much to ask if you are taking a day to 'rest' Sue ?!
Hugs to all.

I look forward to seeing if i have won anything and will be back to congratulate those who do, i love visiting you every day it is part of my day without fail, and when i cannot, through illness, i really miss it. Thank you so much, Sue, for all the effort you put into your fantastic shows on C&C. Judging by the response of many sell-outs, you thoroughly deserve your success. WOW!!!
AND to get my email read out and card shown was very exciting for grandson Joseph. He thinks it is 'very cool'. High praise indeed from a 9 year old.
Fair play too to Lancashire Steph as her email was on same show and well done Pam & Sandra for winning Cup Of Chance.
Also was lovely to hear so many names known to me via Sue's Particraft blog.
Waiting now with anticipation for all my goodies to arrive and then iiiiiit's playtime.
Not wanting to detract attention away from Sue's launch, I have held off until now to impart my news.
The news given to me by my Oncologist on the 3rd Feb was ALL CLEAR! Now I can finally get some semblance back into my life, so come on the rest of 2015, 'What have you got in store for me?' Bring it on, I'm ready for you now.
Gentle healing hugs and prayers to all those in pain, discomfort or loss. And hugs for all Wilsonettes.

morning Sue
What a beautiful way to start the week. A Treasure of a 'Sue Wilson' piece of art.
Your new dies are so beautiful and today's gift showcases these to the limit. I love the new Eboss folder as it's so Art Deco and a little bit more versatile than others; I love your colours for today as they are so calming and gentle so all in all I think I can say you've hit my buttons for today and so 'Thanks Ever So Much'.

I haven't seen any of the programmes yet as my week-end as been one of the busiest this year but from the odd comments I have seen I hear that some very special people around here had emails read out and even managed to be lucky enough to win a piece of art! you so very lucky ladies. I'm not envious really I'm not - well perhaps just a little bit lol.

I have a fantastic day with my Daughter - her bday was Friday so had just had another celebration yesterday with presents and cake etc.

Have now got to knuckle down and get this year book finished as it's needed for this week-end and although I brought back a few bday cards I still have to make more. Feb and March are my hectic months for family bdays.

To all in pain or suffering I hope your days get better soon. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow. Oh after last week that looks a long time away.

Hello Sue,

Did you crack open a bottle of champagne to go with the pizza?...lol

Managed to catch the last two shows live yesterday, so happy for you, virtually a total sell-out - and rightly so...

Loved the new embossing folders, all three will be joining my other pinpoints very soon...so lovely to see one of them being used on today's card, especially this one as it seems to mirror the swags on the Cygnus Gemini which is definitely going to be one of my first purchases from this last die launch...and your showcasing of the Scandinavian Collection has persuaded me that I need Stockholm and Copenhagen to go with my Oslo, so thanks for the inspiration...

ANNETTEM...try a narrow piece of copy paper as a shim under the "bald patch" - it's because the embossing folder is bowing up in the middle due to the firmer pressure the rollers are exerting on either side...hope that makes sense...if one sheet of paper isn't enough try two - and only the width you need in the middle...

Good morning Sue and all the ladies.
Fabulous card, and I love, love, love that embossing folder.
Congratulations on a wonderful week of fabulous new dies, and an amazing weekend Sue, pity the presenters didn't just let you get on with it.
Cheryl, you must be so happy at the great "All Clear" news. I am so pleassed for you.
Congratulations also to Pam and Sandra on winning a card, and the ladies and me who got their e-mails read out. I was jumping up and down with excitement at that. First time I've e-mailed in was on Saturday on Sue's 11am show and never missed another.
Love to everyone, especially those who are poorly, having treatment, lonely or caring for someone xx

Good Morning Sue,
Another beautiful card today. Loved the parts of the shows I managed to see yesterday (Internet was being very naughty). Initially a tad disappointed that the shows were not showing your new collection, however, it was lovely to see the Scandinavian collection showcased again. I had been dithering about the Scandinavian background, I have the Austrian one and wasn't sure whether I needed another one which looked similar to it but seeing it again has made up my mind for me.
I love your new embossing folders, the beaded fanfare shown in this card is quite lovely, another one for my ever increasing wish list. Thank you for all your hard work and inspiration Sue.

Congratulations Pam on winning a Sue masterpiece, I was thrilled for both you and Sandra.

Theresa, good luck today at the hospital.
CHERYL, fantastic news, it has made my day. I have been really worried about your results or rather your lack of mentioning them, you must have been bursting to tell us, yet you waited until Sue her finished her launch. Just shows what a lovely thoughtful person you are. Bless you.

Love and hugs to all

There were so many lovely samples on the shows, I wish I could watch them over and over, but they go away online after about a week. The periwinkle cardstock is lovely. Thanks for showing how to do the piercing around the card and making it come out perfect!

Good morning Sue and Wilsonette friends,
Oh Sue, what a beautiful soothing looking card in powder blue and that satin ribbon bow just sets it off a treat. Your new folders are gorgeous and look so pretty with you detailing around the scallop of the fanfare. The fanfare folder gives that look of opulence giving it a very expensive look. There is something so mesmerising about this beautiful blue and against the white it is just stunning.
I have recorded the week ends shows as i didn't have a minutes peace to see them with putting in a new front door down at mum's which looks lovely in position and trying to clear from World War Kirsten evacutating the premises for her own house but leaving a pile of devastation in her wake.
Going up to visit mum with a big bouquet of flowers as it would have been her birthday today, so up and arrange them for her(they will never be as good as she could do but getting better each time) and i must remember to take water and a cloth to give their faces a wash down and their writings on their stone.
I hope that your blogging figures continue to rise Sue as you deserve it with all the dedication, hard work, inspiration and generosity that you give with each and every post.
Sending crafty hugs to all my angels her and missing from the blog at the moment, please come back home soon girls.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (glenochil)
